For the more bulky or heavier consignments we provide our road freight service to all major and outlying areas. Major center’s dispatched to will have delivery occurring within 24 – 72 hours of collection, any outlying areas from a major centre will incur a delay in transit dependent on destination.

overnight roadfreight

We recommend this service for the heavier consignments that still require delivery by the close of business the first working day following collection. All outlying areas could incur transit delays dependent on final destination.

overnight airfreight

Our Overnight Express service will ensure a door-to-door collection and delivery of time sensitive consignments, by 11:00 on the first working day, to all major center’s nation-wide.

same day service

This service offers a same day collection and delivery to all local and major center’s in South Africa. Delivery times between the major center’s are dependent on flight availability from the national airline carrier or carrier of choice. Local same days and drive away same days are also available on request.

early bird service

This service will ensure that your delivery occurs by 09:00 the first working day following collection from your offices.

saturday service

Saturday collections or deliveries will that place between 08h00 and 13h00 in all major center’s.

public holiday services

This service is available for and collections or deliveries on a Sunday or Public Holiday.

after hours services

After hours service is available for all collections or deliveries outside normal office hours. These collections and deliveries will be between 18:00 and 07:30 Monday to Friday.

In line with the principles of best business practice, Lynx Freight & Courier Services have introduced the Freight Guard Service Guarantee as a standard service offering to our Customers. On the rare occasion, that a parcel is lost or damaged, the Freight Guard Service Guarantee provides for compensation giving you peace of mind when consigning your goods with Lynx Freight. With Freight Guard as our independent Claims Assessor, events that result in a claim are resolved professionally by a 3rd party. We believe that this guarantee will reflect our family-owned business values by enabling us to take responsibility for those isolated instances when things go wrong, with prompt claims assessment, no excess applied and swift claim settlement.

This innovative new service will be automatically activated as of 1 December and will provide compensation of up to R3000.00 per consignment at a very competitive rate.


E-commerce & Online Pricing Policy

  1. Introduction

This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the accuracy of information captured by the e-commerce plug-in provided by Lynx Freight & Courier (“Lynx”) and the pricing terms associated with our services. By using our plug-in, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the terms set forth herein.

2.1. Responsibility for Accuracy

Lynx places great importance on the accuracy of information captured through our e-commerce plug-in. It is the responsibility of the user (“User”) to ensure that all information entered into the plug-in is accurate and up to date. This includes but is not limited to package dimensions, weight, pick-up and delivery addresses, and any additional relevant details.

2.2. Billing for Incorrectly Captured Information

In the event that the information captured through the plug-in is found to be incorrect or inaccurate, Lynx reserves the right to bill the User accordingly. The User may be liable for any additional costs incurred by Lynx as a result of the inaccurate information provided. Such costs may include, but are not limited to, extra transportation charges, re-routing fees, and administrative costs.

2.3. Verification and Validation

Lynx may, at its discretion, verify and validate the accuracy of the captured information. This may involve reaching out to the User for clarification or requesting supporting documentation. Lynx reserves the right to refuse service if the captured information is deemed consistently inaccurate or misleading.

3.1. Subject to Change

The prices associated with Lynx’s services, as displayed through the e-commerce plug-in, are subject to change without notice. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date pricing information, external factors, such as fluctuations in fuel costs or regulatory changes, may necessitate adjustments to the pricing structure. Lynx will make commercially reasonable efforts to notify Users of any significant pricing changes in advance.

3.2. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding pricing, Lynx and the User will engage in good faith discussions to resolve the matter. Lynx may request supporting documentation or additional information to assess the validity of the dispute. Lynx’s decision regarding any pricing discrepancies shall be final.

  1. Compliance with Applicable Laws and Regulations

Users must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations when using Lynx’s e-commerce plug-in. This includes, but is not limited to, compliance with export control laws and regulations, customs regulations, and any licensing requirements.

Any changes made will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website or notifying Users through the e-commerce plug-in interface.
