economy
For the more bulky or heavier consignments we provide our road freight service to all major and outlying areas. Major centres dispatched to will have delivery occurring within 24 – 72 hours of collection, any outlying areas from a major centre will incur a delay in transit dependent on destination.
overnight roadfreight
We recommend this service for the heavier consignments that still require delivery by the close of business the first working day following collection. All outlying areas could incur transit delays dependent on final destination.
overnight airfreight
Our Overnight Express service will ensure a door-to-door collection and delivery of time sensitive consignments, by 11:00 on the first working day, to all major centres nation-wide.
same day service
This service offers a same day collection and delivery to all local and major centres in South Africa. Delivery times between the major centres are dependent on flight availability from the national airline carrier or carrier of choice. Local same days and drive away same days are also available on request.
early bird service
This service will ensure that your delivery occurs by 09:00 the first working day following collection from your offices.
saturday service
Saturday collections or deliveries will take place between 08h00 and 13h00 in all major centres.
e-commerce services
Connect your WooCommerce store directly to our courier platform with our dedicated plugin.
public holiday services
This service is available for and collections or deliveries on a Sunday or Public Holiday.
after hours services
After hours service is available for all collections or deliveries outside normal office hours. These collections and deliveries will be between 18:00 and 07:30 Monday to Friday.
WELCOME TO LYNX!
Lynx Freight and Courier Services cc is a family business that was originally established in 1994 with four members making up the corporation, of which two had extensive knowledge and backgrounds in the Freight and Courier industry. Our first customer was Engen Petroleum in Parktown, Johannesburg for whom we collected cheques. Within the first year of trading two of the partners were bought out and the remaining two partners are now the directors of Lynx Freight and Courier Services (Pty) Ltd which was changed to a private company in 2001.
